Jeffree Star Cosmetics: Summer Chrome Collection 2017

I have decided to do a sort of swatch post today, but I have included a little more information than I usually would for a simple swatch post. Jeffree Star Cosmetics recently came out with a new Summer Chrome Collection of products and I decided I wanted to purchase something, but wasn’t quite sure what at first.

The whole collection includes; 8 Velour Liquid Lipsticks, 3 Velour Lip Scrubs, 5 Lip Ammunitions™, 2 Skin Frosts™ and various lip gift sets.

I decided to pick up two items from the collection, both are lip products. I got a Velour Liquid Lipstick in Calabasas, which was £16.00 for 5.4ml. I also got a Lip Ammunition™ in Birthday Suit, which was £16.00 for 3.4g.

I wasn’t too sure if the liquid lipstick would suit me, but it actually looks lovely. I love the colour and it is perfect after one application (the wand tickles my lips a little). It dries down and it is long wearing, but will deteriorate when you eat and drink. I already own a lip ammunition from the regular line, so I familiar with the formula. It is a really nice lipstick and I love the colour. I also love the packaging of both products. I can’t wait for more JSC products to be released. I have heard rumours of a Skin Frost™ Palette and a Mini Velour Liquid Lipstick set!

Escada Collector's Edition Gift Set

I’ve always been interested in trying Escada fragrances, but there are so many to choose from and I didn’t want to risk buying a full size bottle. I came across this little gift set whilst I was shopping online at Boots and clicked buy straight away! All four fragrances are in a tiny, but cute 4ml potion looking bottle. Here are the four scents you get to try:- TURQUOISE SUMMER This bottle is a turquoise/clear theme and contains the notes; pineapple, strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, peach, violet, orange blossom, vanilla, sandalwood and musk. It smells really strong of orange blossom and kind of like a car air freshener. It does linger quite a while on the skin, but it is not really a strong scent. Overall I don’t like this scent. It doesn’t really smell of anything to me and what you can smell isn’t what I would call pleasant. I give this perfume 1/5 . Swatches: Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in 206 Nude Pink

Nude Pink (206) - it is a nude salmon pink with shimmer (frost) It is a beautiful colour and nice and creamy in consistency and although described as a nude pink it comes across more coral and it is very frosty. £4.99 - UK.RimmelLondon.com

Graze - Box #6

Welcome to my second Graze delivery of the year. I was quite excited when I first opened it, even though I have tried one of the treats before. A closer look at my treats. Cracking Black Pepper Cashews “Black pepper cashews, roasted cashews & redskin peanuts” I have had cashews before and they are not my favourite, but the black pepper completely changes them and they are actually quite nice and the flavour is not too overpowering. I am not keen on the roasted cashews because they don’t really taste of anything and the bit of flavour they do have is very dry. Lastly, the peanuts are kind of strange. They kind of taste soily and dry, therefore I don’t like these. My Thai “Sweet chilli sauce with baked soy bites” This was my first experience of this one and you can really smell the soy on the bites and they have a funny texture, but are really yummy. I didn’t try the chilli sauce because I didn’t like the scent and I am not big on sauces anyway. ...
