Becca's Babble's #4: My Current Favourite Songs

Photo: TheDJ.co.uk
I thought I would post about something different today, something not beauty related. I have found myself listening to more music lately, seeing as though I have more time on my hands whilst the UK is on a sort of lockdown and I cannot go to work. By listening to more music, I mean more of the songs I have downloaded. I don’t really get to hear much new music as I do not listen to the radio or watch music channels on the TV. I am also kind of old school with music. I actually download the songs onto my PC instead of using a music streaming service. I just personally find it easier; I can then copy the songs to my phone. Streaming sites tend to delete their content after a while, but if you have the songs downloaded, you can never lose them until you delete them. I do subscribe to Amazon Music for my Echo Dot though, but I do find it incredibly frustrating when Alexa doesn’t understand what I want her to play, even though I am saying it in plain English!! Anyway, here is a list of my current favourite songs (in no particular order):

Sia - Helium
BTS (ft. Sia) - On
NETTA - Bassa Sababa
NETTA - Nana Banana
Eminem - Lose Yourself
Lindsey Stirling - Elements
Lindsey Stirling - Ascendance
Lindsey Stirling - Roundtable Rival
Lindsey Stirling - The Arena
Dua Lipa (ft. BLACKPINK) - Kiss and Make Up
Eleni Foureira - Fuego (Spanish Version)
Shawn Mendes (ft. Camila Cabello) - Señorita

As you can tell, I am mostly into pop and I don’t technically have a favourite artist. If I like a song, I like a song. A lot of my favourites are kind of old (even 2019 ones) compared to how much music is released every year. I like songs that make me want to dance or that make me feel kind of emotional. My favourite dance one at the moment is NETTA - Bassa Sababa and my favourite feel emotional one at the moment is Sia - Helium.

Haul: Small Unmentioned Purchases

For today’s post I am going to share with you a few products that I have recently purchased and have not mentioned. I actually purchased one of the products last year but I thought I would include it anyway because I have not mentioned it before. The product I bought last year was from Asda and it is the Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 HR Cream/Gel Eyeshadow in Pink Gold . I bought it for £4.99 and I got it because I thought it was limited edition but as it turned out it is actually permanent. It is a gorgeous colour! Now for the products I have bought recently this year. The Urban Decay Oz: The Great and Powerful Theodora Palette  for £35 from BeautyBay.com. I have used this palette a few times and I really like it. From Superdrug I picked up a Maybelline theROCKET Volum’Express Mascara  in the shade Black because I was interested in trying it and I got it for £5.99 because it had a £2 off offer. From Home Bargains I picked up another can of the TRESemmé Extra Hold...

Haul: Recent Purchases #6

I thought I would share a haul with you today. I have made several purchases here and there since my last haul, but I thought I would share these items with you today and I purchased them all around the same time. First of all I purchased a few things from FeelUnique.com. I bought the Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Setting Powder , Urban Decay De-Slick Complexion Primer , Maybelline Baby Skin Primer and Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks in Believer and Heroine . I also received two skincare samples with this order and got my Platinum Member discount off all of the Urban Decay products. I also made a small Jeffree Star Cosmetics order on BeautyBay.com. I purchased two Velour Liquid Lipsticks in Anna Nicole and Leo and Reflective Make-Up Bag in Dark Blue . I also wanted the Pumpkin Pie liquid lipstick from JSC, but it was out of stock. I am also interested in the Flamethrower shade as well, but it is such a bright block orange shade and it kind of sca...

Beauty Bakerie Lip Whips & Remover

I had wanted to try these lipsticks for a very long time, but I was sceptical as I had heard mixed reviews. Some people love them, some people dislike them. I had also heard that they are very hard to remove, which leads me to believe that the staying power must be there. My current favourite liquid lipsticks are still the JSC Velour ones and nothing else I have tried has topped them yet, a couple of brands have come close though! ABOUT THE PRODUCTS The packaging of the lipsticks is simple, but aesthetically pleasing; I like the blue accent caps. It is made out of plastic and there is something inside the tube to make the formula looked twisted in the tube, which is a nice detail that I haven’t seen before. The applicator is a little pear shaped sponge with a little well in the middle to hold the product. The packaging of the remover is also pretty simple and cute. The container is made of lightweight plastic and you could easily repurpose it once you have used up the wipes. You get 3...
