Blogmas #11 | e.l.f Haul #6

There was a 50% off offer (when you spent £20) on eyeslipsface.co.uk and I just had to take advantage of it. The sale had been on a few days before I got there, so I didn’t get as much stuff as I thought I would. A few shades of some of the items I wanted were sold out! I still bought some new things and everything I bought is new to me, so you should expect quite a few e.l.f reviews next year!

I bought items from each of the three lines e.l.f currently has. From the essential line I bought two Lip Balm Tints in Berry and Peach, Clarifying Pressed Powder in Ivory and an Eyeshadow Brush. From the mineral line I bought two Mineral Lipsticks in Barely Bitten and Ripe Rose and a Mineral Eyeliner in Midnight. And lastly from the studio line I bought a Baked Eyeshadow in Pixie, a Blush in Blushing Rose and a pack of Lotion Wipes in Cucumber & Melon.

I am very much looking forward to trying out these products, especially the lip balm tints. Hopefully in the New Year, the website will be re-stocked and I can get what I couldn’t this time.

Charlotte Tilbury Bejewelled Eyes To Hypnotise Instant Eye Palette

I originally wanted to purchase this palette last year as I already had the Charlotte Tilbury Stars-In-Your-Eyes Palette, which is the same concept as this one but had a more neutral and bright sultry colour story. LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX #2 - June 2020

I decided to re-subscribe to the LookFantastic Beauty Box and I pre-ordered my June box on 22 nd May. It arrived yesterday (3 rd June) and I couldn’t wait to unbox it. My first and last LF Beauty Box was September 2014; I can’t believe it has nearly been six years! I initially un-subscribed due to the price (£15.00) and I mostly received skin care items and at the time, I was only really interested in make-up. I already saw a sneak peek for the June box (Staycation Edition), which is why I re-subscribed (the May box was sold out anyway). It was to supposed to be worth over £61.00 and the items would arrive in a travel bag. I knew I would receive a shower gel and possibly a hair brush as they were pictured. Serial Sampler #34

I’ve had this sample for a while now and I’ve only just decided to test it. I also have another sample of a spin-off scent from the same fragrance line, which I will post soon. It is Candy by PRADA and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum. “ Prada Candy combines exceptionally high-quality ingredients in excessive proportions. Magnified by musks, noble benzoin comes together with a modern caramel accord to give the fragrance a truly unique signature ” Launched: 2011 Type: Oriental Vanilla Notes Top: Caramel. Middle: Musk and Powder. Base: Benzoin and Vanilla. I wasn’t expecting to like this fragrance when I looked at the notes and I was right! It smells kind of woody (burnt wood) and like celery.
