I have been purchasing and testing a lot of Christina Aguilera perfumes and this one was next on my list. The bottle has a yellow gold glass rounded hourglass shape with a black lace flower design near the neck of the bottle and the name is written in red font across the front. It also has a plastic diamond shaped cap and a regular perfume spritzer. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Mandarin Orange, Peach, Star Anise & Orange Blossom Middle Notes: Freesia, Lily-of-the-Valley, Heliotrope & Jasmine Base Notes: Sandalwood, Amber, Musk & Benzoin The bottle is very nice and the scent does last quite a long time on your skin. You can mostly smell the musk and floral notes, which make it, smell deep and kind of mature. When I first smelled it, I didn’t like it. It is not my typical kind of scent, but it is ok. It kind of reminds me of Loverdose by Diesel, which has liquorice as a note. I personally wouldn’t re-purchase it, but I would recommend it. ...

I first saw this palette when Jouer released their Skinny Dip make-up collection and I nearly bought it, but I changed my mind because I already have a million palettes. As you can see, I have changed my mind again and I am very glad that I did. The packaging is quite compact. It is made out of reflective foil gold cardboard and the typography is simple. It has a magnetic closing, which you lift to reveal a small rectangular mirror on one side and then the six eyeshadow pans on the other. The shade names are written underneath each pan. You get six ultra-foil shimmer eyeshadows in blinding shades with a net weight of 7.5g. The sixth shade is actually described as more of a glitter shade. This review has been a long time coming because I have been wearing this scent for over two years. I saw it on television adverts, but first smelled it in Superdrug and instantly fell in love with it. I find the scent iconic and when I smell it anywhere, I know exactly what it is. It is one of my favourite smells in the whole world and I always close my eyes when I first smell it. Sometimes I just sit there sniffing the bottle, that is how addicted to the scent I am! The bottle is sort of diamond shaped and made of glass with a gold shiny plastic lid covering. There is a gap near the bottom of the bottle where the spritzer is. The part where the perfume name is engraved is where press to dispense the fragrance from the spritzer. I thought I would share with you my thoughts on a FREE lipgloss sample I received a while back from an online Debenhams order I made. It is Sweet Peach Oil Lipgloss in Pure Peach by Too Faced and it is a 1g sample of the full sized lipgloss. It contains peach oil, coconut oi and vitamin E. These ingredients soften and moisturise the lips. The lipgloss is available in eight different shades and they all smell like peaches (they are supposed to taste like peaches too). The shade I have is described as a peachy pink. It is quite pigmented for a lipgloss and it does apply very smooth. It doesn’t feel heavy on the lips and it does feel moisturising. It also smells amazing! It is not as sticky as your average lipgloss either because of the added oils. I first saw this palette online last year and there was no way of me purchasing it, plus it was limited edition. I just loved the name of the palette and the eyeshadows looked beautiful. I was on Facebook not so long ago and I came across a BeautyBay advertisement that showed this palette and it said now back in stock and permanent. I bought it without hesitation! I didn’t even know that BeautyBay stocked Coloured Raine products. I was looking at getting the HUDA BEAUTY Desert Dusk Palette, but it is quite expensive and it has a few similar shades to the Queen of Hearts Palette, so I don’t think I will bother purchasing it now I have this beauty. I have decided to do a sort of swatch post today, but I have included a little more information than I usually would for a simple swatch post. Jeffree Star Cosmetics recently came out with a new Summer Chrome Collection of products and I decided I wanted to purchase something, but wasn’t quite sure what at first. The whole collection includes; 8 Velour Liquid Lipsticks, 3 Velour Lip Scrubs, 5 Lip Ammunitions™, 2 Skin Frosts™ and various lip gift sets. I decided to pick up two items from the collection, both are lip products. I got a Velour Liquid Lipstick in Calabasas , which was £16.00 for 5.4ml. I also got a Lip Ammunition™ in Birthday Suit , which was £16.00 for 3.4g. Today’s perfume power is quite a short one. I purchased this perfume not so long ago because it is a Britney scent and I just had to test it. The bottle is made of light azure blue frosted glass and has a spherical shape with a pink and white hibiscus flower pattern on the front. The textured band around the neck of the bottle is white and the cap is rounded and made of translucent red plastic. Lastly, it has the regular perfume spritzer to dispense the liquid. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Strelitzia, Passionfruit & Pink Grapefruit Middle Notes: Hibiscus, Cyclamen, Tiare Flower & Orange Blossom Base Notes: Coconut, Vanilla, Musk, White Amber & White Wood The bottle is beautiful and the scent is quite light and delicate and actually quite nice considering I don’t like coconut. Today I have a mini mascara to share with you. It is In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash by MAC and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to give your lashes extreme volume, a deep black colour and give them a slight curl. I didn’t reckon much to this mascara at all! It coated my lashes in black pigment, separated them, made them look defined and gave them a slight curl, but no volume! I don’t know if the formula just doesn’t like my lashes or whether the brush is different. The brush kind of looks different to the full sized tube from photos I have seen, but I don’t know why they wouldn’t use the same brush for the sample because the brush makes the formula work. I’m guessing I would have to purchase the full size to find out, which I will not be doing. This was my first ever experience with MAC mascaras and it hasn’t put me off. I managed to get my hands on one of these palettes quite early on! On 12 th June, Urban Decay released a limited amount of these palettes for sale via their website. They actually launched in the UK on 27 th July and are widely available. I’m not sure how many were released early, but I know I was lucky enough to get one, just a shame it has taken me this long to finally review it! This is the fifth naked palette Urban Decay has released. They also have a Naked Basics range, but I consider those palettes to be separate from the original line up. I already own Naked 1, 2 and 3. I did have 4 (Smoky), but I gave this to my sister as the shades didn’t really appeal to me, the palette devil in me just had to buy it anyway! The Naked Heat palette is actually the one that appeals to me the most out of the five. I have a MAC haul today. I didn’t buy as much as last time, but I am happy with my purchases. I got a small bottle of the Prep + Prime Fix+ . It would have worked out less expensive for me to buy the full size bottle, but I just wanted to try it out and I wasn’t sure if I would use it very often so didn’t want to be stuck with a big bottle of it. I bought a Liptensity Lipstick in Smoked Almond (bright rose-brown) . I have seen these lipsticks online before and didn’t really know too much about them, but the packaging always caught my eye. I decided to pick one up and try it out. Lastly, I bought an Eye Shadow X 9 Palette in Burgundy Times Nine (Honey Lust, Poppyseed, Quarry, Antiqued, Embark, #Noir, Haux, Star Violet & Sketch) . The shades just appealed to me and I don’t own very many eyeshadows from MAC. I wasn’t expecting the palette to be so small. Each eyeshadow is just 0.8g.
