Graze - Box #8

I have yet another Graze box for you today. This box was more savoury than the ones I have had before.

A closer look at my treats.
The Graze Brownie

“The better-for-you brownie”

The brownies were quite nice. It was Belgian chocolate and not too sickly and I don’t usually like nuts/almonds in brownies, but these tree nuts were good.
Spicy Corn Taco

“Spicy chilli peanuts, roasted corn & edamame beans”

The chilli peanuts were really good. They taste a bit like regular salted peanuts, but you still get that hint of chilli spice. The corn was beautiful! It was really crunchy and it had a sweet and savoury taste to it. I wasn’t that keen on the beans because they were mostly tasteless and they remind me of bird seeds because they are really crunchy, but the texture is hollow and shell like.
The British Barbecue

“Basil baguettes, rosemary crostini, smoked almonds & seeds”

The basil baguettes are really tasty and not too strong. The crostini’s are really light and yummy, and the rosemary seasoning is delicate. The almonds were a bit dry tasting, but they were ok and the seeds were nice. The bigger the seed, the more you could taste the smokiness.
Brooklyn Bites

“Poppy seed pretzels, cheese cashews & roasted pumpkin seeds”

The pretzels were lovely. They still had a bit of salt on them and the poppy seeds just gave them an extra taste. I have had the cashews before and they are very nice and strong than the last ones I had. Lastly, the pumpkin seeds were ok, but I’m just not a seed kind of girl.

Overall I really liked this box and my favourite packet was The British Barbecue. My favourite snack out of the lot was the roasted corn, which was surprisingly delicious even though I do like sweetcorn. I will still stay subscribed because there are so many more mouth-watering snack packets to try.

My Eye Primers: The Verdict!

It has taken me a long time to put this altogether, but I have finally done it! I decided I wanted to share my thoughts on eye primers I had tried and it turned out that I had ten, so I thought I would test them and find out which one worked best for me. I have split them into two categories (High End/Low End) and I aim to rank them from #1 to #10 on which is the longest wearing. Let’s look at the primers I will be testing. HIGH END URBAN DECAY PRIMER POTION PRICE: £17.50 SIZE: 10ml SHADES: Original, Anti-ageing, Freebase, Eden, Fix, Minor Sin, Sin and Caffeine APPLICATION: Squeeze tube without a nozzle, but also has a sponge stick applicator PROMISES: Non-creasing, gives you vibrant eyeshadows WHERE TO BUY: UrbanDecay.co.uk (UK) & Sephora (USA) I like to think that this primer is my favourite as I love the packaging (purple is my favourite colour). It is potion bottle inspired and it is the first primer I remember ever seeing and wanting. The packa...

Perfume Power! - Next 'Paradise'

I first smelt this perfume after receiving it in a mini gift set about ten years ago and I have loved it ever since. This 100ml size is my first bottle of it though, other than the tester/sample size. The bottle is quite tall and it is a sort of clutch bag shape if you turn it on its side. The bottle is a simple design and you can easily see how much perfume you have. On mine the spray pump sometimes gets stuck in the band around the neck of the bottle, but the problem is easily solved. I can’t find a specific note list anywhere for this perfume, but on Next’s site it is described as, "a light fruity fragrance with white florals and green notes". To me it smells really fruity and fresh. It is also multifunctional because it is quite strong and sexy, so perfect for a night out, but it is also not too overpowering and smells fresh and fruity enough for day time wear. It is actually an eau de toilette, which means that it is less concentrated, but I find that it is st...
