I have purchased a hell of a lot of beauty related items between Christmas, New Year and beyond, I have completely gone mental!!! I can’t quite believe how much I have purchased or spent. I got discounts off the majority of the items, but it is still a lot to process. I thought I may as well share with you what I purchased. From BeautyBay.com, I got the Melt Cosmetics Eyeshadow Stack in Haze , ZOEVA Classic Brush Holder , RINCÓN Sugar Rush Palette and the BPERFECT Stacey Marie Carnival Palette . I already have three of the brush holders and I am also interested in getting another eyeshadow stack in the not so distant future. I originally saw this stack a month or so ago, but I was put off by the price, when I saw it discounted just after Christmas, I took advantage. My last Birchbox was July 2018 and I periodically re-subscribe. I only re-subscribed this month because you could get a FREE The Beauty Crop Espresso Yourself Palette. This is a sort of Valentine’s Day themed box and you get three postcards and two 15% off gift vouchers for the Birchbox website. You can use the vouchers to purchase any items you receive in your boxes. This is my first drawer type Birchbox. I have a mascara sample I would like to share with you today. It is  False Lashes Extreme Black  by  MAC  and it is a 1g sample of the full size mascara. It is supposed to make your lashes appear thick, voluminous and full feathered with its ultra-thickening carbon black pigment mousse like formula. It should also lengthen, curl and separate your lashes and it should be long wearing, flake proof and smudge proof. This mascara does add quite a bit volume to your lashes, as well as length, separation and definition. It also slightly curls the tips of your lashes. I’m not sure if the ultra-thickening formula and carbon black pigment really adds anything extra and I wouldn’t say that it really gives you a full feathered look. I was browsing on AllBeauty.com and looking at celebrity fragrances and I saw that one was listed for JoJo Siwa. I had heard of JoJo before, but I don’t really know anything about her. I clicked on it out of interest and when I first saw the image of the perfume, I thought maybe the wrong photograph had been uploaded until I clicked on it and saw the description of the perfume. When I first saw the photograph, before I clicked on it to read the description, I instantly thought, that’s Stunning by Katie Price! I looked into it a bit more and compared it to Stunning. This is my third Glossybox since I re-subscribed last year. It is also the Valentine’s Day themed box. I would say that so far, this box seems to be the one most tailored to my usual interests. I received seven products in this box, technically six because two go hand in hand. HUDA BEAUTY Lip Contour in Venus This lip pencil formula is supposed to be waterproof and transfer-free. It should glide on effortlessly and give your lips an intense shot of colour. You can use it to contour or colour your lips or pair it with a lipstick. Venus is a warm beige nude shade. It glides onto your lips very easy, but it feels a little tacky when you fill your whole lips in with it. I’m not sure how often I would use this seeing as though I have never used lip liner. I have tried many Christina Aguilera fragrances over the years and this is the most recent one I have purchased. The bottle design is similar to the CA fragrances and the outer box is also lace and flower themed. The bottle is a clear glass vase shape and is has a small black ribbon tied into a bow around the neck. The cap is diamond shaped and made out of clear plastic. It has the usual silver spritzer to dispense the scent. I purchased the 30ml bottle and it is available for £20.50 from places such as, AllBeauty.com and Sephora. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Sicilian Bergamot, Italian Mandarin & Red Apple Middle Notes: Vanilla Orchid & Diamond Orchid Base Notes: Hinoki Wood, Ambergris, Heliotrope & Musk The vanilla scent is the strongest and it is kind of a classic evening time of scent. SWATCH PICTURE ABOVE: COPPERTONE - RED BRICK - CHROME YELLOW - RULE I thought I would share with you a few things I purchased from MAC recently. I got three Eyeshadow Pans in Chrome Yellow , Rule and Red Brick , a 15 Pan Pro-Palette Insert and a Powder Blush in Coppertone . Lastly, I also received a free sample of the In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara . I didn’t buy too much and I mostly made the purchases to get the three eyeshadows, plus I wanted a more neutral blush shade because I only really have corals and pinks in my collection. I plan on purchasing more cosmetics soon as I have recently got into face primers.

I bought this mascara and while ago with the intentions of reviewing it, but I only wear mascara when I wear eyeshadow, which is not very often these days. It has taken me a while to get around to trying out this mascara. The packaging is made of purple and gold plastic and it has a sort of tapered oval shape. The brush is small and made of rubber. It has longer bristles towards the bottom and shorter bristles at the top. The formula is creamy and kind of thick, but it does feel lightweight on your lashes. You get 9.5ml of product in the tube and the shade is Noir/Black. You can buy it for £10.99 from places such as Boots (UK), Superdrug (UK) and Ulta (USA). It is supposed to give your lashes definition and volume without making them clumpy or feeling stiff. The couture brush should coat every lash without clumps and it has small soft bristles, which should reach each lash and evenly spread the mascara. This is the first Glossybox of the year and it is the second one I have received since I re-subscribed in December 2018. AVANT SKINCARE DELUXE HYALURONIC ACID VIVIFYING FACE & EYE NIGHT CREAM This is the most expensive product from the box and it is an anti-ageing moisturiser that is supposed to be hydrating and rejuvenating. It is also supposed to be smoothing without adding shine to your skin and it should have a fresh scent. I have actually tested this and the first time I used it, my skin did look shiny and kind of feel greasy. The second time I used it, my skin still looked shiny and when I touched my skin I could tell there was something on it. I don’t think this means it doesn’t work, I think it just needs a little time to settle on the skin. I don’t know what it looks like if you apply make-up over the top. It is not long now until New Year and as you can see from the title, I have reactivated my Glossybox subscription, AGAIN! My last box was September 2016. I got this box for £7.00 as there was a ‘first box’ discount offer and the postage was £3.25. I couldn’t get the Christmas ‘All That Glitters’ box, so I was sent this one instead.
