Blogmas #6 | Becca's Babble's #1: What Christmas Means To Me

Source: etsy.com
We all know what the ‘true meaning’ of Christmas is, but it doesn’t mean the same to everyone and we all celebrate differently.

The ‘true meaning’ is about the birth of Jesus Christ and religious beliefs. So to religious people it is to celebrate their religion and their own beliefs.

I am not religious and I would consider myself to be Atheist (slightly Agnostic). So to me Christmas means celebrating family and friends. It is slightly the same because it is still about celebrating life, but it doesn’t mean you have to believe in religion or God to celebrate Christmas.

So the TRUE MEANING of Christmas to me is US! Every one of us should be thankful for each other as well as family and friends.

What does Christmas mean to you?

e.l.f Haul #4

More e.l.f, you can obviously tell I really like their products. I only made my order because it was free shipping if you spent more than £10, so I bought the few items that were on my wishlist, otherwise I would have waited a lot longer, until I had reached the £30 mark, like I usually do. I wanted their regular £1.50 line blush in Shy, but it is not on the website anymore, unless you buy the small panned one. I wanted the full size because it is a dupe for MAC Well Dressed (which I have) and it’s bigger, so you get more for your £1.50. Powder Puffs (set of 4) - £1.50 ( here ) Studio Blush in Tickled Pink - £3.75 ( here ) Studio Blush in Gotta Glow - £3.75 ( here ) Studio Daily Brush Cleaner - £3.75 ( here ) Thanks for reading :)

Haul: End of June

Today I am going to haul products I have purchased this much. I haven’t really bought much, but the majority of the items were necessities and I thought I would share them with you anyway! From Boots I bought their Vitamin E Gentle Eye Cream (£2.54) . I was nearly running out of my Soap & Glory eye roll on and decided I wanted to try something different and the Boots one seemed like a good one to try because it is inexpensive. I also bought another Soap & Glory Peaches And Clean (£8) because I have nearly finished my current bottle and the packaging has been re-designed. I picked up two bottles of my favourite hand gel, Soap & Glory Hand Maid (£2.50) . Lastly from Boots I bought a Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Guava (£3.99) . From FeelUnique.com I bought a Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze (£4.49) because it was 10% off and it was a shade I really wanted. I also received a free 1.5ml sample sachet of *DARPHIN MELAPERFECT Anti-Dark Spots Perfect...

Perfume Power! - Soap & Glory™ 'Eau De Soap & Glory'

I bought this because I already had the first Soap & Glory perfume and I really loved the Mist You Madly line scent. The bottle is cuboid shaped and made of opaque black glass. It has a regular perfume spritzer and the cap is clear plastic and T shaped with a pink woollen sash wrapped around the base. On the front of the bottle there is a pink foiled sticker with the Soap & Glory logo. The fragrance notes are:- Bergamot, Cassis, Magnolia, Freesia, Vanilla & Musk This perfume is a strong florally and musky scent. It is quite sweet, but not overpowering. The bottle is also a classic design, so you can re-use as decoration if you peel the sticker off the front. It is the Formula 2 scent, which is what some of Soap & Glory products smell like (The Daily Smooth, Clean Girls, Mist You Madly etc.). I can really smell the bergamot, freesia and musk. It has a sort of masculine smell and does last for a while on your skin. It is a must have if you love the Mist...
