Blogmas #26 | Christmas Haul 2013

I am doing my annual Christmas haul and this year, I got a lot more beauty related items.

Mini Galore Set, which includes four body sprays, Kiss Me, SuperStar, Sinful and Brit. The Nivea Luscious Lips Set, which includes. Two lip balms in Essential Care and Pearly Shine and two lip butters in Raspberry Rosé and Original. The Vaseline Vintage Lips Set, which includes, the Lip Therapy Balm Tin in Rosy Lips and Healthy Hand + Stronger Nails Hand Cream. The little added extras include, O.P.I Nail Envy Maximum-Strength, O.P.I Nail Envy, Soap & Glory Clean, Girls Body Wash (travel size), Bath Microfibre Animal Print Hair Wrap (turban) and a Goody Tanglefix Brush.

I got a lot of other gifts, such as, jewellery, accessories, money, clothes and stationary, but I just wanted to share the beauty related items with you.

The sales started on Christmas Eve this year, so I purchased a few items and I am just waiting for them to be delivered and then I can share them with you. But since today is Boxing Day, I was going to do a little bit of shopping but I caught the flu Christmas Eve and didn’t really feel like going out today. Hopefully I will be better by New Year!

Photo:  FashionDayDreams.com My Mum went to a car boot sale and found this and bought it. My Mum didn’t like it so she gave it to my sister and then my sister gave it to me. The bottle is a sphere shape inspired by an apple. On the smaller sizes the cap is basic like on most perfumes and is made of silver reflective plastic. The bottle base is made of translucent bottle green glass. On the bigger sizes the cap doesn’t come off and it is the actual dispenser, so when you press it down the perfume sprays. The fragrance notes are:- Top Notes: Grapefruit, Cucumber & Magnolia Middle Notes: Tuberose, Rose, Lily-of-the-Valley, Violet & Green Apple Base Notes: Sandalwood, Amber & Wood This perfume smells fruity, floral and fresh and the apple scent really stands out. Escada Collector's Edition Gift Set

I’ve always been interested in trying Escada fragrances, but there are so many to choose from and I didn’t want to risk buying a full size bottle. I came across this little gift set whilst I was shopping online at Boots and clicked buy straight away! All four fragrances are in a tiny, but cute 4ml potion looking bottle. Here are the four scents you get to try:- TURQUOISE SUMMER This bottle is a turquoise/clear theme and contains the notes; pineapple, strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, peach, violet, orange blossom, vanilla, sandalwood and musk. It smells really strong of orange blossom and kind of like a car air freshener. It does linger quite a while on the skin, but it is not really a strong scent. Overall I don’t like this scent. It doesn’t really smell of anything to me and what you can smell isn’t what I would call pleasant. I give this perfume 1/5 . Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

I received this product as part of the Oz: The Great and Powerful Theodora Palette, which also includes a lipgloss crayon. I am going to review this product as a whole, even though I only have it in one shade. This looks like a standard eyeliner pencil, but the design is a lot nicer looking. The majority of them have the silver lid, but I have noticed that a couple of the shades have a different colour lid. Each barrel of each pencil is a different colour, to clearly show the colour of each shade. Zero is a soft black shade and it is not the darkest black Urban Decay do. This shade is part of the regular line and mine is the 0.8g sample size, the full sized product is 1.2g. Like the majority of pencil eyeliners, you have to sharpen it to dispense more product and the formula is smooth and creamy.
