Blogmas #19 | Becca's Babble's #3: Christmas Shopping

Source: Telegraph.co.uk
As you can see from the title, this is my next Becca’s Babble’s topic.

I quite enjoy Christmas shopping, but I do sometimes find it stressful! It’s hard when people don’t know what they would like, so you don’t know what to buy. Plus every year some people like to set themselves a budget and depending on where you live, it can be hard to stick to it. I live in a small town and rely on public transport, so I buy most of my Christmas gifts online.

Me and my Sister shop together for our gifts, so it is slightly easier and I have someone to carry my bags! (joking). We find it hardest to buy for our Mum and Dad because they never give us a serious or straight answer when we ask them what they would like. Last year I didn’t have a big budget, but this year things have changed, but I am not going to go crazy. It is also our Mum’s birthday a couple of days after Christmas, so we buy extra. It’s not too hard because I think women are easier to shop for, especially if you are a woman too!

Me and my Sister usually leave it to the last minute to sort out Christmas gifts, but this year we have done it earlier to save rushing around like last year! We now both feel relaxed because everything is already wrapped, tagged and ready to put under the tree Christmas morning. We would put them under there Christmas Eve but we both have destructive young cats that love playing with paper! I think you can guess how that story would end!

Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet?

Haul: End of June

Today I am going to haul products I have purchased this much. I haven’t really bought much, but the majority of the items were necessities and I thought I would share them with you anyway! From Boots I bought their Vitamin E Gentle Eye Cream (£2.54) . I was nearly running out of my Soap & Glory eye roll on and decided I wanted to try something different and the Boots one seemed like a good one to try because it is inexpensive. I also bought another Soap & Glory Peaches And Clean (£8) because I have nearly finished my current bottle and the packaging has been re-designed. I picked up two bottles of my favourite hand gel, Soap & Glory Hand Maid (£2.50) . Lastly from Boots I bought a Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Guava (£3.99) . From FeelUnique.com I bought a Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze (£4.49) because it was 10% off and it was a shade I really wanted. I also received a free 1.5ml sample sachet of *DARPHIN MELAPERFECT Anti-Dark Spots Perfect...

Serial Sampler #39

I have another perfume sample to share today. Again, I can’t remember how long I have had this one, but I know I haven’t smelled it before. I always mean’t to test it sooner, but didn’t for reason, so now is the time!   It is Olympéa by Paco Rabanne and it is a 1.5ml spritzer sample of the eau de parfum.   “ The divine perfume with a fresh oriental signature; it’s sparkling green tangerine top notes reveal a unique salty vanilla accord. Then it’s addictive heart of captivating jasmine and ginger Lilly scents unveils a sensual ambergris and cashmere wood base ” Launched: 2015   Type: Oriental Floral / Feminine Notes Top: Water Jasmine, Green Mandarin and Ginger Flower. Middle: Vanilla and Salt. Base: Cashmere Wood, Ambergris and Sandalwood. I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this fragrance, I assumed it would smell like an ‘old lady’ floral but I was very wrong. It smells quite sensual and it is a perfect example of a deep oriental floral scent. I can really s...
